We created this Agorakit space to move away from corporate social media, stop losing track of threads in messy group chats, and own our own data securely.
Agorakit is an open-source, web-based groupware designed for grassroots collectives. Inspired by the ancient Greek "agora" (a central public gathering place), these virtual spaces operate with a flat, horizontal structure that allows groups to self-manage without needing a dedicated system administrator.

- Fill Out Your Profile: Add a photo or avatar, and write a brief sentence about your activist interests so others can find you.
- Say Hello Below: Reply directly to this pinned post! Introduce yourself and share what social justice issues you are most passionate about.
- Adjust Your Notifications: Click your profile settings to choose how often you receive email summaries. We recommend daily digests so you never miss an action.
- Check the Calendar: Look at our upcoming events tab and RSVP to our next general meeting.
